F.I.T. Inc. History
Fuserashi International Technology Inc. (F.I.T. Inc.) was the first international subsidiary of Fuserashi Co., Ltd..
Since opening its doors over 20 years ago, F.I.T., Inc. has expanded its manufacturing space from 30,000 square feet to 200,000 square feet and has plenty of room left for future growth.
With four major plant expansions, substantial employee growth, and an accelerating customer base, F.I.T. continues to innovate in its field.
Take a look back at F.I.T.’s growth:
1996
Fuserashi Co., Ltd. decided to establish a North American facility. After visiting a supplier in Medina County, Ohio–, F.I.T. becomes the first international subsidiary of the Japanese company.
1997
F.I.T. officially opened the doors to its facility in Valley City. It was the first company to reside in the Valley City Industrial Parkway. At inception, it was a 30,000-sq.-ft. building.
2001
F.I.T. doubled its size, adding a 30,000-sq.-ft. warehouse.
2003
F.IT. expanded its production department and added a tool and maintenance room, cafeteria and a front office conference room. In total, 7,000 sq. ft. was added to the facility
2013
F.I.T. grew production and warehouse departments, along with expanding the cafeteria and front office area, adding 60,000 sq. ft. total.
2014
While F.I.T.’s employment rate steadily increased throughout the years, the company’s staff surged in 2014 and beyond.
2016
Expansion grew F.I.T. headquarters to about 200,000 sq. ft. Additions included: a production department expansion for a new cold former (7,500 sq. ft.), a new, larger air compressor room (2,500 sq. ft.) and a 30,000-sq.-ft. production department/warehouse expansion (30,000 sq. ft.).
